Job Description

SRM Concrete is a leading company specializing in the production and delivery of high-quality concrete products for various construction projects across commercial and residential sectors. As a forward-thinking and customer-oriented business, SRM Concrete strives to uphold its reputation by adhering to its core values of safety, quality, kindness, cleanliness, and a go-getter attitude. The company is deeply committed to fostering a culture that empowers its employees, encouraging growth opportunities, while maintaining competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. SRM Concrete seeks to be the largest and most profitable construction material company in the country, all while maintaining a best-in-class culture that values each team member's contribution to its overall success.

We are currently hiring motivated and dedicated individuals with an active Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our team as Mixer Operators. This role involves the safe and efficient operation of concrete mixer trucks, responsible for mixing, loading, and delivering concrete to various job sites. The position requires an individual with an acute attention to detail to ensure the product meets the stringent customer and regulatory standards. The Mixer Operator's role is integral to project timelines, as timely delivery is critical for construction schedules. Alongside the technical driving and operational duties, Mixer Operators are expected to provide exceptional customer service at all touchpoints, maintaining SRM’s high standards of professionalism and respect.

In this full-time role, SRM provides home daily schedules to promote work-life balance, competitive hourly wages with bonus opportunities, and ongoing chances for career advancement within a thriving company. Employees benefit from an exceptional benefits package that includes low-cost medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance coverage. Paid holidays, paid time off, vacation programs, a 401k plan with a generous match, and family days further contribute to a supportive and rewarding work environment. Overtime is also available to those seeking additional earning potential.

Mixer Operators at SRM are not only drivers; they are valued concrete experts who undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings, physicals, and drug screenings to ensure safety and compliance. The role demands physical capability including lifting up to 100 pounds, climbing ladders or stairs, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Safety is paramount, and adherence to company safety protocols is mandatory to protect both the workforce and the public. This is a great opportunity for candidates with CDL experience who seek a stable, respected role within a community-focused company that values diversity and inclusion and promotes a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
