Job Description

SRM Concrete is a leading construction materials company dedicated to providing high-quality concrete products to a wide array of commercial and residential construction projects across the country. With a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, SRM Concrete strives to maintain a best-in-class culture that supports employee growth and development. The company embraces five core principles: Safety, Quality, Kindness, Cleanliness, and embracing the Go-Getter spirit. These values serve as the foundation for SRM Concrete's operations and guide the day-to-day work environment.

The role of Mixer Operator at SRM Concrete is a vital position responsible for the safe and efficient operation of concrete mixer trucks. Mixer Operators play a crucial role in ensuring that concrete products are mixed according to strict specifications and delivered timely to various construction sites. This position requires individuals who hold an active CDL Class A or B license and maintain a strong safety focus. The operator must conduct pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly to reduce downtime and ensure the highest standards of equipment functioning.

As a Mixer Operator, you will interact professionally with customers and the public, represent the company through courteous and responsible conduct, and collaborate closely with the dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and routing. The role also involves maintaining accurate delivery and vehicle maintenance records, supporting other team members when necessary, and adhering strictly to company and industry safety protocols to prevent accidents.

SRM Concrete offers an employment opportunity that goes beyond merely being a CDL holder. Employees joining their team are valued as concrete experts and contributors to a dynamic and growing company. Competitive hourly pay with eligibility for bonuses and annual raises are part of the compensation package. The company ensures work-life balance by offering daily home time, thus allowing employees to spend each night at home.

In addition to competitive pay, SRM Concrete provides an exceptional benefits package that includes low-cost medical, dental, vision, short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), and life insurance options, paid holidays, paid time off (PTO), vacation programs, a 401k savings plan with a company match of $100 per week, and family days. There are also opportunities for daily and weekly overtime, allowing dedicated employees to increase their earnings.

At SRM Concrete, applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment drug screen, a physical examination, and consent to background checks including Clearinghouse and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks. The company values diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunities without discrimination of any kind.

This position offers motivated individuals a chance to join a forward-thinking and employee-centric construction materials supply company group. With a strong support network and a culture built on respect, quality, and kindness, SRM Concrete represents an outstanding career opportunity for CDL holders looking to advance in a rapidly growing industry with a trusted name in concrete production and delivery.
