The Mixed Grille Server at Interlachen Country Club plays a crucial role in upholding the club's reputation for exceptional dining experiences. Job Requirements

  • Provide immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating
  • Answer questions and suggestively sell food and beverage items if appropriate
  • Take members' and guests' orders
  • Be able to bartend and perform bar service
  • Place orders with kitchen and communicate special cooking instructions
  • Serve meals in courses placing dishes in front of each person
  • Check back to ensure member and guest satisfaction and replenish beverages
  • Remove dishes and run dishwasher as needed
  • Present dessert menus and serve dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks
  • Charge to members' accounts accurately
  • Keep tables, dining area, and bus station areas clean
  • Advise supervisor of any complaints immediately
  • Perform clean-up and opening/closing duties as assigned
  • Thank members and guests and invite them to return
  • Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor
  • Have thorough knowledge of restaurant operations including foods, beverages, supervisory aspects, service techniques, and guest interaction
  • Must be able to stand on feet throughout shift and lift 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years serving experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • At least 1 year bartending experience preferred
  • Knowledge of ClubEssentials POS system preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and maintain professionalism
  • Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Demonstrated knowledge of restaurant and bar operations

Job Duties
