Job Requirements
- Provide immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating
- Answer questions and suggestively sell food and beverage items if appropriate
- Take members' and guests' orders
- Be able to bartend and perform bar service
- Place orders with kitchen and communicate special cooking instructions
- Serve meals in courses placing dishes in front of each person
- Check back to ensure member and guest satisfaction and replenish beverages
- Remove dishes and run dishwasher as needed
- Present dessert menus and serve dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks
- Charge to members' accounts accurately
- Keep tables, dining area, and bus station areas clean
- Advise supervisor of any complaints immediately
- Perform clean-up and opening/closing duties as assigned
- Thank members and guests and invite them to return
- Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor
- Have thorough knowledge of restaurant operations including foods, beverages, supervisory aspects, service techniques, and guest interaction
- Must be able to stand on feet throughout shift and lift 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 2 years serving experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
- At least 1 year bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of ClubEssentials POS system preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain professionalism
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrated knowledge of restaurant and bar operations
