Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of machine and manufacturing experience
- Ability to work onsite at Kent, Washington
- Flexibility to work from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM shift including occasional to frequent overtime
- Ability to follow safety and food safety protocols
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- Willingness to rotate to Production Specialist position
- Reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year machine and manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and good manufacturing practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime
- Accountability and responsibility for work
- Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing techniques
- Ability to follow established work and quality standards
Job Duties
- Tend a machine that mixes ingredients such as salt, flour, eggs and soda to produce batter according to formula
- Weigh and mix ingredients in mixing tank
- Hand stir mix with a 3 foot long spatula
- Record information about ingredients and timing
- Receive instructions from cook in person or on telephone regarding the mixes needed
- Record temperature of mixes
- Follow safety, food safety (SQF), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards
- Clean and sanitize equipment and surroundings specific to focus area
- Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
- Perform other production specific tasks
