Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work morning shifts full time
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to follow food safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Two years experience in pastry or culinary arts preferred
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for pastry and culinary creativity
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries and desserts according to recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry workstations
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate needs to management
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and high-quality dessert delivery
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assist in developing new pastry recipes and menu items
  • Support the Executive Pastry Chef in daily operational tasks
