Job Requirements

  • Prior experience as an MQ-4 Triton Air Vehicle Operator or Tactical Coordinator
  • Experience with High-Altitude Long Endurance UAS, e.g., Triton, BAMS, Global Hawk
  • Knowledge of the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS)
  • Understanding of FAA and ICAO regulations and UAS integration
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Proven communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an MQ-4 Triton Air Vehicle Operator (AVO) or Tactical Coordinator (TACCO)
  • Experience with High-Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) UAS such as Triton, BAMS, Global Hawk
  • In-depth knowledge of the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) and FAA and ICAO regulations
  • Strong understanding of UAS integration into regulatory frameworks
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combination of relevant education and experience
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proactive work approach with ability to complete tasks with limited guidance
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities

Job Duties

  • Support air integration efforts by producing draft routes, graphics, and mission plan spreadsheets
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS)
  • Recommend improvements related to mission planning interfaces, workload, and supportability in coordination with Navy Human Factors Engineering
  • Collaborate with Triton teams including mission systems sensors, information assurance, training, safety, software, and interoperability for mission planning functions
  • Research technical and procedural information related to MPRA ISR-related missions, testing, and training
  • Conduct comparative analysis for make or buy decisions and product comparison analysis for systems
  • Instruct fleet operators in the use and operation of the Joint Mission Planning System
  • Support FAA Certificate of Authorization submission by producing graphics and mission planning documentation
  • Coordinate with industry partners and the US Navy to route and approve mission plans through validation and approval processes
