Job Description
Endicott College, located approximately 20 miles north of Boston, offers a scenic seaside locale accessible by commuter rail on the Newburyport/Rockport line with free parking provided for employees. As a vibrant academic institution with a bustling campus community, Endicott fosters a welcoming and dynamic environment for its staff and students alike. The college not only prides itself on academic excellence but also creates opportunities for students to engage in professional development and hands-on experience through various campus roles. The Misselwood Events at Endicott College stand as a premier destination for weddings, conferences, and social gatherings, making it a hub for exceptional event hosting and operations.
We are seeking passionate and detail-oriented individuals to join the Misselwood Seasonal Support team, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of high-profile events at Misselwood House and throughout the campus. This is a part-time seasonal opportunity beginning in April 2026 with a competitive rate of $18.50 per hour. Candidates will develop leadership, communication, and logistical skills while gaining invaluable experience in the event management and hospitality industries.
The roles available are divided into two distinct tracks: Wedding & Event Support and Operations & Conference Support. Both positions act as the face of Misselwood and Endicott College, providing elite guest service and operational support to ensure exceptional event experiences. The Wedding & Event Support Track focuses on hospitality hosting, wedding operations, and parking logistics during the event season from April to October, assisting bridal parties, vendors, and guests with professionalism and warmth. The Operations & Conference Support Track runs from April to August, centered around managing group check-ins and check-outs, overseeing linen and room preparations for conferences, and serving as a community liaison through day and evening shifts.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong passion for hospitality and guest service, embodying a professional demeanor in their interactions. They must be physically capable of performing event-related tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Flexibility is essential, as schedules will include nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or event support is preferred but not mandatory.
Joining the Misselwood Seasonal Support team means being part of a collaborative community that values commitment, detail, and excellence. This role offers considerable growth potential for students or individuals beginning a career in events or hospitality management. With comprehensive training provided, you will be well-prepared to contribute meaningfully to the smooth operation of some of the most memorable events hosted at Endicott College. If you are interested in being part of a dynamic team where your work directly impacts the guest experience, this opportunity is the perfect fit. We encourage you to apply and specify your track preference or indicate willingness to support both areas based on your availability.
