The Assistant Manager position at Rosewood Miramar Beach’s Miramar Beach Bar and Food & Beverage Services department is a full-time permanent role with an annual salary range of $72,000 to $74,000, with bonus eligibility. Reporting directly to the Manager, the Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing every facet of the outlet's daily operations. This includes ensuring that all team members collaborate effectively, that the outlet operates within budget, and complies with all applicable laws. The Assistant Manager is responsible for delivering warm, genuine, and passionate service that consistently exceeds guest expectations, while managing the outlet efficiently according to established brand standards and service procedures.
Key responsibilities include assisting in team management, maintaining brand standards, preparing budgets, analyzing profit and loss statements, scheduling staff, and ensuring compliance with all operational policies. The role demands full knowledge of the menu, beverage offerings, POS systems, liquor regulations, and all departmental procedures. The Assistant Manager also monitors guest relations, resolves complaints using a structured process, and ensures the physical environment meets high standards of cleanliness and organization. Additionally, they participate in hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions as necessary. This position requires leadership, excellent communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced luxury hospitality environment. Proficiency in English is required, with additional language skills considered a plus. Job Qualifications
- Diploma or some college or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- must have current and valid ServSafe Food Manager Protection Certification
- must have current and valid Responsible Beverage Service Certification and Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Server ID
- minimum three years’ experience as a restaurant Assistant Manager
- hotel operational exposure, preferably in Food and Beverage
- experience with luxury or ultra-luxury property or brand preferred
- demonstrated experience in leading and developing people
- strong organizational and project management skills
- ability to enforce hotel standards, policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Provide exceptional service and ensure guest satisfaction with dining experiences
- ensure the delivery of brand promise and support the implementation of the Ways We Work, demonstrating and reinforcing Rosewood Hotels and Resorts values and culture characteristics
- exercise responsible supervisory behavior at all times and positively represent the outlet management team and Rosewood Hotels and Resorts
- assist Manager in management of a team of food and beverage professionals ensuring brand standards and required sequence of service components are executed with precision
- maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards
- ensure discretion and confidentiality with VIP/SAG guests
- assist the Manager in preparation of budgets, analysis of P&L’s, sales projections and revenue control
- ensure all associates follow the outlet’s Order of Service and Standard Operating Procedures at all times
- assist Manager in management of all associates
- assist in interviews, hires, training, performance management and termination of outlet associates
- schedule associates and prepare payroll documents
- manage guest relations and ensure guest satisfaction
- maintain knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available in outlet
- maintain knowledge of menu items, preparation, ingredients, portions, presentation and prices
- maintain knowledge of dining room layout, table and station numbers, proper table setups, room capacity, hours of operation, price range and dress code
- maintain knowledge of POS and manual system procedures
- maintain knowledge of daily menu specials and 86’d items
- maintain knowledge of scheduled in-house group activities
- ensure maintenance and use of equipment
