Within its luxury hotel portfolio, Hyatt emphasizes a culture of growth and support for its colleagues, offering competitive benefits and fostering an environment where employees can develop their skills and advance their careers. The company values innovation, integrity, and collaboration, ensuring that every team member contributes to creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

The role of Mini Bar Attendant at Hyatt is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of guest satisfaction and operational excellence. This position is responsible for ensuring the highest standard presentation and replenishment of the Mini Bar in guest rooms. The Mini Bar Attendant's duties extend beyond simple restocking; they prepare daily work assignments, create and post menus, complete consumption reports, and fulfill Mini Bar orders, all while working closely with the Purchasing Manager to maintain consistent inventory availability.

The Mini Bar Attendant plays an essential part in delivering warm, humble, and knowledgeable service throughout the property. This role requires an individual who is highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively. The hourly rate for this position is $20.00, reflecting the level of responsibility and professionalism expected in this role.

In addition to overseeing the Mini Bar operations, the attendant also ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, conducts monthly checks of expiration dates, maintains cleanliness and organization of carts and storage areas, and assists management with various projects. Communication is key, as the role demands responsiveness on communication channels like the Zello radio application to stay connected with supervisors and managers.

The Mini Bar Attendant also supports the broader team by fostering a culture where staff feel encouraged to grow professionally. They prepare all necessary administrative paperwork such as forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely fashion. This emphasis on employee relations underscores Hyatt's commitment to a positive and productive work environment.

Furthermore, the Mini Bar Attendant contributes to ensuring quality guest experiences by enhancing service consistency, operational effectiveness, and employee satisfaction. They actively seek opportunities to advance their knowledge related to food, wine, and service while strictly adhering to all health, safety, and labor regulations.

This role requires a candidate with a background in luxury hotel operations, demonstrated by at least two years of similar experience. The ideal Mini Bar Attendant exhibits excellent communication skills, computer competency with systems such as POS and PMS, and a strong ability to handle confidential information. Integrity, fairness, creativity in problem-solving, and collaborative spirit are highly valued qualities for success in this position.

Physical demands of the role include lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, pushing weights up to 80 pounds, and being able to stand or walk for prolonged periods, ensuring that the attendant is physically capable of meeting the challenges of this dynamic environment. Safety and health compliance remains a paramount responsibility.

Hyatt ensures a supportive and inclusive workplace where all qualified candidates receive consideration regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status. This reflects the company’s dedication to diversity and equal employment opportunity.

Joining Hyatt as a Mini Bar Attendant means becoming part of a globally respected hospitality leader that values its employees, offers competitive pay, and provides comprehensive benefits. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute significantly to guest satisfaction and operational success, all within an environment that encourages personal and professional growth.
