Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of bartending experience required
- basic knowledge of beverage preparation and service
- ability to obtain government required license or certificate
- bartending certificate required
- TIPS certification required
- CPR certification and/or First Aid Training preferred
- basic mathematical skills for cash handling
- basic English language writing skills
- sufficient manual dexterity
- ability to stand and work long hours in confined spaces
- ability to work varied schedule including weekends and holidays

- basic English writing skills necessary for requisitions, balance sheets, vouchers, and communication
- sufficient manual dexterity for bartending duties
- ability to remember and promote a variety of menu items
- ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods
- ability to work varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Set up the bar daily with necessary supplies and check par levels of beer, wine, and spirits
- Stock, cut, and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables to maintain quality
- Greet guests courteously, take drink orders, mix and garnish drinks using standard recipes and portion control
- Update par sheets during shifts for accuracy and accountability
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and guest areas throughout the shift
- Handle cash transactions, verify charges, record charges, and balance money
- Lock and store all beverages, food, and equipment items
- Follow liquor laws and regulations for serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests, and assist security with disorderly guests
