Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type operated
- Proficiency in English
- bilingual skills in French are a plus
- Strong analysis skills for route planning and problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in team settings or previous roles
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety standards
- Prior experience in transportation or logistics is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to pass background checks and meet all regulatory requirements for commercial driving

Job Duties
- Safely operate various types of transport vehicles according to company policies and safety regulations
- Plan and execute optimal routes for delivery, considering traffic, weather, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues
- Assist in training new drivers or team members as needed, demonstrating leadership qualities
- Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and transportation laws at all times
