Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a medical office preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills
  • High organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other locations
  • Reliable commute or relocation plans to New York, NY 10022
  • Preferred 1 year customer service experience
  • Preferred 1 year medical terminology experience
  • Preferred 3 years computer skills

Job Duties

  • Manage patient check-ins and check-outs
  • Receive and process payments
  • Answer and route telephone calls
  • Handle administrative tasks with a positive attitude
  • Prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and staff
  • Occasionally travel to other VRMNY locations
