The role available is full-time and designed for a dedicated supervisory professional to manage and coordinate the daily activities of all Environmental Services and Linen personnel. This position is critical in maintaining the hospital environment to be sanitary, attractive, and orderly, directly impacting patient safety and satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and linen services, ensuring that departmental objectives are met by delivering high-quality environmental services consistently. As the Environmental Services Supervisor, the individual will conduct daily inspections, coordinate staff schedules and workload, oversee supply inventory and procurement, and provide extensive training to staff members, helping to maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

This role includes facilitating communication among staff and leadership, addressing quality concerns promptly, and leading the department through leadership by example and hands-on supervision. The supervisor will also assist in managing the department's operating budget and participate in performance surveys and studies to identify improvements. Serving as a resource person, this role ensures that team members are aware of new industry standards, cleaning technologies, and operational trends to keep the hospital's hygiene and safety standards at the highest level. The position requires strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
