We are currently seeking a motivated and guest-oriented Pool Attendant to join our hospitality team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the resort's poolside environment, ensuring the area is clean, orderly, and well-stocked at all times. The Pool Attendant will provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with seating arrangements like lounge chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, and daybeds, as well as distributing towels and other amenities. The role demands a proactive approach to anticipate guest needs and enhance their comfort throughout their stay. Additionally, the Pool Attendant supports food and beverage services by delivering orders promptly to guests and working in tandem with servers and kitchen staff to uphold service quality.

Working as a Pool Attendant requires attentiveness not only to guest comfort but also to safety and compliance standards. This includes observing poolside safety, managing cleanliness regarding sanitation protocols, and promptly reporting any maintenance or safety concerns. You will also contribute to maintaining an organized storage area for pool and recreational supplies and uphold professional conduct at all times. This role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a lively, social environment and who take pride in delivering first-class service with a positive attitude. Flexible scheduling is essential, as this position involves shifts during weekends and holidays and requires standing and walking for prolonged periods, lifting and carrying supplies, and working in various weather conditions. Job Requirements

Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
must maintain professional appearance and grooming standards
food handler’s card and/or responsible beverage service certification may be required or ability to obtain within 30 days

Previous experience in a pool, recreation, or hospitality environment preferred
strong guest service and interpersonal skills
ability to communicate effectively and maintain a professional, positive attitude
ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
basic math and problem-solving skills
ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

Job Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide orientation to pool and recreation areas
assist guests with lounge chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, daybeds, towels, and other amenities
anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, courteous service while maintaining a professional demeanor
answer general questions about the property, amenities, and services
maintain cleanliness of pool decks, lounge areas, cabanas, and equipment
clean, sanitize, and reset chairs, tables, and equipment between guest use
stock towels, linens, and amenities throughout the pool and service areas
maintain organized and clean storage and linen areas
dispose of trash and used linens in accordance with company procedures
deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
ensure all items meet presentation standards and guest specifications
work collaboratively with Pool Servers and kitchen staff to support efficient service
follow all company safety policies and procedures, including use of PPE when required
maintain awareness of pool safety and promptly report hazards or unsafe conditions
ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and HAZMAT standards
report maintenance issues, accidents, or safety concerns immediately
address guest concerns promptly within scope of authority
escalate when necessary
report unusual incidents, missing items, or disruptive behavior to management or Security
maintain reliable and punctual attendance in accordance with scheduling requirements
retrieve, stock, and organize pool and recreation supplies
clean assigned areas, including corridors and service spaces
support team members and assist with additional duties as assigned
