The role of Merchandiser and Cashier at O'Reilly Auto Parts involves playing an essential part in the smooth operation and outstanding customer experience in the retail store. This position requires greeting customers on the sales floor, helping them locate products, or directing them to a parts specialist for more technical assistance. The Merchandiser is responsible for checking in merchandise, pricing, stock placement according to planograms, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to ensure the displays are attractive and fully stocked. They also execute all price changes, manage sales signage during promotional periods, and assist with inventory management duties such as stock adjustments and cycle counts. The role extends to security responsibilities, including acting as a shoplifting deterrent.

As a Cashier, the individual will efficiently and courteously handle customer checkouts, process merchandise returns, and assist with ticket finalization when needed, ensuring smooth and quick service at the point of sale. This position is hourly, with compensation ranging from $17.13 to $23.50 per hour, depending on location and experience. Additional performance-based premiums and seasonal compensation may apply.
