Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or stocking experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate cash register and handle transactions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Previous cashier and/or stocking experience preferred
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle preferred
- Fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired
Job Duties
- Greet customers on sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to parts specialist
- Check in, price, and stock merchandise according to planograms
- Keep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and clean daily
- Make display changes and out-front price adjustments according to company guidelines
- Ensure all sale signs and flyer racks are stocked and remove sale materials when sales end
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns
- Act as main shoplifting deterrent and maintain front floor security
- Assist with O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities
- Check out customers purchasing front floor merchandise quickly and efficiently
- Handle merchandise returns in a friendly manner
- Assist customers at the counter when express lane is not utilized
