Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in bartending or table service in upscale environments
- Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and move for long periods
- Flexibility to work late-night shifts and Club holidays
- Responsible alcohol service certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in bartending and/or table service in an upscale restaurant, hotel, or private club environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine, with the ability to make confident recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you are naturally engaging and comfortable building rapport with a sophisticated membership
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking individual initiative
- Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods throughout service
- Private club or fine dining experience is strongly preferred
- TIPS or equivalent responsible service certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Job Duties
- Provide warm, attentive table and bar service to members and their guests during lunch and dinner service
- Maintain expert knowledge of the food and beverage menus, including daily specials, cocktail offerings, wine selections, and dietary accommodations
- Accurately take and enter member orders using the Club's POS system with speed and precision
- Craft cocktails and tend the bar responsibly, with attention to both quality and presentation
- Maintain the Men's Grille and all surrounding service areas in impeccable condition - clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift
- Monitor par levels, communicate low-stock needs proactively, and assist with ordering and inventory as needed
- Build genuine relationships with members over time, learning preferences and anticipating needs to create a personalized experience
- Uphold the Club's service standards with professionalism and a positive attitude at all times
