Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in membership services or customer service
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with MS Office suite including Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- public speaking skills
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with a team
- problem-solving skills
- ability to handle emergency situations calmly
- organizational skills
- experience with point of sale and registration processes
Job Duties
- Greet members and guests, check ID cards, assist with event set-ups
- respond promptly to communications and follow through on commitments
- provide outstanding service professionally and courteously, listen openly to ideas
- respond calmly and tactfully to problem situations and discuss concerns constructively
- answer questions about lifestyles programs and recommend events, shows, and functions
- write routine reports and correspondence
- speak effectively before groups
- demonstrate exceptional customer service to departments, members, guests, and vendors
- maintain a safe and friendly environment
- work as a team to create and promote fun programs and events
- assist in event room set-up and break-down
- perform light housekeeping duties
- inspect grounds and notify management of issues
- understand emergency preparedness and respond appropriately
- replenish desk forms
- prepare monthly reports and vendor check requests
- increase program attendance by tracking member and guest participation
- manage staff and contractor schedules
- maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks
- assist in preparing articles and event calendars
- contact members about new lifestyle programs
