This role of Membership Coordinator is integral to the smooth operation and ongoing success of 55 Seventy's membership sales initiatives. We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional to support various aspects of the membership sales process including scheduling coordination, event planning, prospect outreach, and marketing support. The Membership Coordinator will work collaboratively with different departments to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns, membership drives, and event-related functions.

The Membership Coordinator will play a key role in managing large-scale outreach efforts, overseeing the sales cycle for prospective members across multiple accounts and platforms, and assisting in the maintenance of the club's customer relationship management (CRM) system. This individual will demonstrate high-level client recognition skills to support a large membership base by providing personalized and unique experiences for each member.

In this capacity, the Membership Coordinator will negotiate trade partnerships and sponsorships with local publications, businesses, and charities to enhance the club's public relations strategies and increase overall exposure. They will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the membership team with billing and registration processes for new members.

Additionally, the role includes supporting the marketing team in both online and offline campaigns, assisting in designing and publishing marketing materials including advertisements and media content. The coordinator will manage social media pages like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to maintain an active and engaging digital presence for the club.

Effective calendar management and detailed communication between internal teams and external partners are crucial elements of this role to ensure streamlined collaboration and successful event coordination. Confidentiality, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and timely project completion are key attributes required to excel as a Membership Coordinator at 55 Seventy.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
  • minimum of 3 years experience in a coordinator or support role
  • exceptional organizational skills

  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and calendar tools

  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as a coordinator, support, executive assistant or in a similar role
  • exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and calendar management tools

Job Duties

  • Detail, oversee, and help execute cross-functional marketing campaigns, events and membership initiatives
  • head large-scale outreach efforts and coordinate the prospect sales cycle across multiple accounts and platforms
  • assist in the management of our CRM to organize prospects and efficiently track the sales cycle
  • develop high-level client recognition skills to support a large membership base and provide each client with a personable and unique experience
  • negotiate trade and partnership efforts and sponsorships with local publications, businesses, and charities to collaborate on PR strategies and club exposure
  • provide administrative support to the membership team to assist in the billing and registration of new members
  • support the marketing team in planning and executing marketing campaigns, both online and offline
