This position is teller-focused, serving as the first point of contact for members at the Mount Vernon branch. The Member Services Representative is responsible for providing accurate and personalized teller services, including cash handling and transaction processing with exceptional attention to detail. Beyond transactional duties, this role plays a critical part in educating members about the credit union's products and services, supporting their financial goals through respectful and empathetic communication. This position also provides a pathway to grow into broader financial services responsibilities such as account opening and lending assistance.\n\nThe position is full-time, generally Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, providing a stable schedule with steady hours. Pay ranges vary depending on experience, with Member Service Representative 1 earning between $20.41 and $26.53 per hour, and Member Service Representative 2 earning between $22.04 and $28.65 per hour. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to convey financial terminology in Spanish and English highly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous cash handling experience highly preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain NMLS Registration and Notary license
