Job Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in customer service or retail preferred
ability to stand for extended periods
strong interpersonal skills
ability to operate cash register and related retail technology
reliable and punctual
capacity to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
ability to follow company safety and operational procedures.

Job Duties

Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
follow forklift spotting procedures
handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly
adhere to company steel standard guidelines
correct and report unsafe situations to facility management
provide member service by acknowledging and greeting members
assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
resolve member issues and concerns
promote the company's products and services
support members with self-service technology
process member purchases
assist with payments following company policies for membership and payment types
process transactions using registers or self-checkout areas
maintain clean and organized checkout and club areas
comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards
complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and co-workers
communicate progress and recommend improvements
adapt to changes and feedback.
