Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • ability to operate cash registers and other front-end equipment
  • capability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • standing for long periods

  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • compliance with safety and operational procedures

Job Duties

  • Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
  • follow forklift spotting procedures
  • handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly
  • correct and report unsafe situations to management
  • provide member service by acknowledging and greeting members
  • assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
  • resolve member issues and concerns
  • promote company products and services
  • offer guidance on member self-service technology
  • process member purchases accurately
  • assist with different payment types according to policies
  • assist members with transactions using registers and self-checkout
  • zone and organize merchandise areas
  • maintain clean, neat, and member-ready checkout and surrounding areas
  • comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
  • complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and team members
  • communicate progress and adapt to changes and feedback
  • support merchandising and overall club operations as directed
