Job Requirements

  • Must live in EST time zone
  • Available for up to 30% travel
  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in corporate event or meeting management within pharma industry
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing pharmaceutical industry events (e.g., advisory boards, clinical and investigator meetings)
  • Proficient with CVENT and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong understanding of HCP compliance, pharma meeting regulations, and spend tracking
  • Exceptional organizational, budgeting, negotiation, and project management skills
  • Professional communication and discretion when handling sensitive event logistics and interactions

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Lead planning, logistics, and execution of pharmaceutical meetings and events, both internal and external
  • Manage event lifecycle using CVENT, including sourcing, registration, budgeting, and reconciliation
  • Handle venue sourcing, hotel negotiations, vendor management, on-site event delivery, and post-event reporting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Compliance, Finance, Travel, and other departments to ensure all processes and approvals are followed
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with spend limits, documentation, and reporting requirements
  • Track and manage meeting budgets and contracts, ensuring timely reconciliation and adherence to corporate policies
  • Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives within the meetings and events team
  • Work independently or within cross-functional teams to deliver events with precision and professionalism
