Job Description
CBRE Group, Inc., a Fortune 500 and S&P 500 company headquartered in Dallas, is the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm based on 2024 revenue. With over 140,000 employees serving clients in more than 100 countries, CBRE operates through four main business segments: Advisory, Building Operations & Experience, Project Management, and Real Estate Investments. Known globally for its commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation in commercial real estate, CBRE offers comprehensive solutions including leasing, sales, property management, facilities management, investment management, and more. As a leader in the industry, CBRE fosters a collaborative culture built on respect and values diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and skillsets, encouraging employees to realize their full potential and make significant impacts.
The Meeting & Events Planner role at CBRE is a dynamic position focused on enhancing tenant engagement and delivering best-in-class service in office and retail environments. This position acts as the programming lead and concierge for tenants, responsible for managing all aspects of amenity spaces and tenant experience programming. The role involves driving tenant engagement through various initiatives such as tenant lunch and learns, programming events, and activations facilitated via the Activate app. The Meeting & Events Planner collaborates closely with Property Management teams, Marketing, Leasing, and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality events and personalized service. Key responsibilities include scheduling, event execution, marketing support, reporting, and maintaining communication to align with client brand vision.
Candidates will oversee day-to-day team management, establish work schedules, and foster an environment of mentorship and coaching while upholding CBRE’s RISE hospitality standards — Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence. The Planner is also tasked with negotiating vendor contracts, managing third-party vendor programs such as food delivery and event coordination, organizing community and tenant-related events, and maintaining the master calendar of property event programming. This role requires an analytical mindset to collect and interpret feedback as well as produce detailed reports on program performance and tenant engagement metrics. Physical involvement such as setting up and taking down events is part of the job, and some after-hours event oversight may be necessary.
The Meeting & Events Planner position is full-time with a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $95,000 annually. Successful candidates may be eligible for discretionary bonuses based on CBRE’s benefit programs. Core benefits include 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, and vision insurance. CBRE promotes an inclusive workplace and is an equal opportunity employer, encouraging applications from all qualified candidates regardless of demographic factors. This role demands a candidate with strong organizational skills, the ability to analyze data, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, as well as a Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Joining CBRE means becoming part of a global leader with a commitment to professional growth and a culture that values diverse experiences and perspectives.
