Job Description

CBRE is a global leader in real estate services, providing expertise across a wide range of property sectors and solutions. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, CBRE serves clients from all industries, delivering tailored services that optimize the value of their real estate assets. Known for its dynamic and collaborative work environment, CBRE fosters professional growth and encourages employees to lead with integrity and a customer-first mindset. The company is recognized for its diverse and inclusive culture and emphasizes sustainability and corporate responsibility in its operations.

The role of an Events Coordinator at CBRE is pivotal in creating seamless and memorable event experiences within its managed facilities. This position falls under the Events job function and encompasses responsibilities that ensure smooth coordination and superior guest services during events. The Events Coordinator acts as the Concierge Desk lead, charged with billing creation and processing, acting as the guest services liaison for the facility, and providing support for building security and mail services/loading dock operations. This job is essential in maintaining a welcoming and safe environment for all facility visitors, clients, and vendors.

As an Events Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for anyone entering the facility, greeting guests warmly and managing their requests with professionalism. You will play an integral role in the administration and execution of events, supporting the event team with various tasks ranging from scheduling and logistics to on-site coordination. Your duties include maintaining a robust database of local business recommendations such as transportation, dining, and entertainment options which enhance the guest experience.

The position requires you to adhere strictly to property-specific security and emergency procedures to ensure the safety of all individuals in the building. Handling inquiries or complaints promptly and effectively will be part of your role, providing solutions that reflect the high standards of CBRE's customer service. You will be instrumental in resolving challenges and contributing ideas to improve team performance and meet organizational goals.

Moreover, this role calls for leadership qualities where you will model behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values, guiding your colleagues and fostering consensus within the team. Your involvement extends to assisting with conference room turnovers, coordinating event logistics such as signage, transportation, special needs accommodations, and security measures during events. Handling event supplies—organizing, tracking inventory, and notifying the team when restocking is necessary—also falls under your responsibilities.

The ideal Events Coordinator will have a proactive approach, able to escalate issues appropriately and operate within defined procedures while suggesting improvements to enhance operational efficiency. By delivering excellent customer service and ensuring all event-related activities run smoothly, you will contribute significantly to both team outcomes and the overall CBRE guest experience.
