The Meeting & Events Coordinator role based in Cincinnati, OH is a full-time position within CBRE’s GWS segment, specifically focused on events and guest services coordination. This role is a critical point of contact for anyone entering the facility, serving as the concierge desk lead responsible for guest services liaison, billing creation and processing, and offering back-up support for building security and mail services/loading dock operations. The coordinator works closely with clients, vendors, and internal team members to deliver outstanding event experiences by managing logistics such as transportation, signage, displays, special needs, printing, and event security. They create a hospitable environment ensuring attendee satisfaction and help in day-to-day event operations including conference room turnover, event supply inventory, and responding to event activities like food and beverage service and facility security.
This position demands strong organizational capabilities, an inquisitive mindset, and excellent communication skills. The coordinator must handle routine administrative tasks, resolve problems efficiently by selecting appropriate solutions, and actively support team objectives while modeling CBRE’s RISE values through leadership by example. Physical stamina is required due to activities such as stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting loads of 50 lbs or more.
CBRE offers this role a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000 annually, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses and comprehensive benefits starting from the first of the month. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 plus years of job-related experience
- In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems within own job function and basic knowledge of related functions
- Problem-solving skills with capacity to review and select solutions
- Ability to explain complex or sensitive information clearly
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational skills

Job Duties
- Be the first point of contact for all those entering the facility
- Greet them with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Record and log service requests and track the statuses
- Provide administrative aid to the event team as needed
- Deliver world-class customer service to all individuals in the facility
- Build and maintain a database of local business recommendations including transportation, dining, entertainment
- Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures and notify appropriate parties
- Acknowledge inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors and provide professional solutions
- Resolve problems and identify appropriate approaches to meet team objectives
- Establish new techniques to help the team meet its objectives
- Impact team and related teams objectives positively
- Ensure personal and team outcomes positively impact customer objectives
- Lead by example modeling CBRE RISE values and guide team with knowledge of practices and procedures
- Provide support for meetings and events, coordinating guest services including arrival, transportation, signage, displays, special needs, printing, and security
- Create a hospitable environment for attendees, event owners, and vendors on event day
- Assist with conference room turnover and midday refresh
- Respond to event activities such as gathering supplies, food and beverage services, facility security
- Organize and track/event supply inventory and alert team when new orders are needed
- Escalate potential issues appropriately
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems
- Deliver output by following defined procedures under supervision
- Suggest improvements to existing processes to improve team efficiency
