The Senior Meeting and Event Planner role at Flik Hospitality is a vital position within the Conference Center operations. In this role, you will be chiefly responsible for overseeing a team of coordinators and receptionists to deliver outstanding guest services. You will act as the primary liaison between the Conference Center and its customers, ensuring that all arrangements meet high standards and client expectations. Your responsibilities encompass planning and communicating client needs to respective departments, working closely with the Sales Training Department to manage training and meeting logistics, and coordinating with Audio Visual, Conference Services, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure flawless event execution. This position also involves strategic tasks, such as assisting the General Manager with operational reviews and analyzing the Training Center's functionality to continuously improve service quality.
Ideal candidates will bring at least five years of experience in hotel or conference center environments, alongside a solid understanding of the latest industry trends. Strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and advanced computer applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, are essential. Job Duties
- Plan and communicate the expressed needs of the customer to all relevant departments
- work directly with the Sales Training Department to arrange trainings and meetings and reserve space appropriately
- act as a liaison between the Conference Center and all customers
- prepare all group service orders using room reservation software
- coordinate closely with the Audio Visual and Conference Services Departments to ensure room set-ups, AV needs, and special requests are met
- collaborate with the Food & Beverage Department to maintain food quality, menus, and customer feedback
- assist the General Manager in analyzing Training Center operations and prepare quarterly Operational Review reports
