Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects up to 25 pounds
  • ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs or ramps
  • ability to reach overhead and below knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
  • willingness to complete safety training and certifications

Job Duties

  • meet group coordinator or host(ess) prior to functions to ensure all arrangements are agreeable
  • read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information and determine proper setup and timeline
  • respond to and fulfill any special banquet event arrangements
  • follow up to ensure compliance with special banquet event requirements
  • adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents and unsafe conditions
  • maintain a clean and professional appearance and protect company assets
  • welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and express genuine appreciation
  • communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members, including answering telephones with proper etiquette
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects
  • perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, lifting objects up to 25 pounds, and moving through various environments as required
  • perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
