We are currently seeking a Part-Time Restaurant Server to join the Mediterraneo team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about fine dining and delivering superb customer experiences. The Restaurant Server will play a vital role in greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dining room. Compensation for this role is set at $16.90 per hour plus tips, making it a rewarding opportunity for candidates seeking flexible part-time employment with competitive pay.

As a Restaurant Server at Mediterraneo, you will welcome guests warmly, assist them in finding their seats, and attentively take their orders while offering knowledgeable recommendations regarding the menu. Delivering food and beverages in a timely and professional manner is essential to this role. Throughout the guests' dining experience, you will check in regularly to ensure their satisfaction and promptly handle any concerns or requests. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing payments accurately, including handling cash and credit card transactions.

Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area is important to support the restaurant's high standards. You will collaborate closely with other staff members such as bussers, food runners, and kitchen personnel to ensure a seamless and efficient dining service. This collaboration helps to deliver an exceptional experience that meets the expectations of Mediterraneo’s discerning clientele.

Ideal candidates will have at least three years of fine dining experience and proven success in roles such as Busser, Food Runner, or Server. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude are essential. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and communicate clearly with team members and guests alike will contribute to success in this position.

Working hours for this part-time role are Wednesday through Sunday evenings, requiring availability for 5-6 hour shifts, including Sundays. Physical stamina is important as the role involves standing and walking for extended periods, along with some lifting, bending, and reaching.
