The Medicare Field Sales Agent position at Humana is a dynamic, field-based role situated in the Nashville, Tennessee territory, where the agent will serve their local community directly. This role involves working collaboratively with a dedicated team of 8 to 12 Medicare Sales Agents under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director who focus on the success and development of each team member. The primary goal of this role is to support Humana's strategic objectives: achieve fundamentals, differentiate through exceptional service, and grow market presence.
Key responsibilities of the Medicare Field Sales Agent include building trust and educating individuals about Humana's Medicare Advantage plans along with supplemental offerings such as Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription drug coverage. Agents will engage in meaningful face-to-face interactions through grassroots marketing efforts, community events, in-home visits, and virtual or phone communication. These efforts are crucial in creating personalized and memorable experiences, making Humana stand out from competitors while expanding its reach and influence within the community.

The pay range for this full-time position is estimated between $80,000 and $125,000 annually, which includes base pay and commission guarantees. Mobile sales representatives must possess an active Health Insurance License and be comfortable with daily in-person interactions, including visits to prospective members' homes. The ideal candidate will also have experience engaging with the community through various avenues such as service organizations, retail settings, volunteer activities, and local events. A valid driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting state minimum coverage requirements are mandatory. Preferred qualifications include an active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License, over one year of Medicare product sales experience, public speaking skills, familiarity with Salesforce and CRM systems, higher education credentials, and bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
