The Medical Receptionist position within our Pulmonology & Infectious Disease Specialty Practice represents a vital role in maintaining efficient operations and delivering an exceptional patient experience. This full-time day-shift role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings and are passionate about healthcare. The medical receptionist will be responsible for accurate patient registration, co-pay collection, scheduling clinical appointments, and assisting both internal staff and external patients with various clerical tasks. Precision and a strong attention to detail in handling patient data entry within physician billing software are crucial to success in this capacity.

In this role, you will serve as a critical first point of contact, ensuring positive interactions from the initial patient call to the conclusion of each visit. The position offers meaningful engagement with patients and the healthcare team, supporting seamless appointments and contributing to the overall quality of care. The pay range for this position is between $17.50 and $23.80 per hour, commensurate with experience, skills, and education. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience working in a medical office or billing environment preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and patient billing processes preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication abilities

Job Duties

  • Register patients accurately in the system
