Job Description

Known for its dedication to quality and compassionate care, the organization is focused on fostering a supportive and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. The team prides itself on maintaining a fast-paced, efficient, and patient-centered front desk operation that plays a vital role in the overall healthcare delivery process. As the healthcare industry continues to evolve, our client is expanding their team to include bilingual medical receptionists who can effectively communicate with a diverse patient base, providing essential support throughout the patient intake and registration journey.

This position as a Patient Access Representative / Medical Receptionist is a critical role within the organization, specifically designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills are paramount. The position is contract to hire and offers a competitive hourly wage of $22.30, reflecting the importance of the role in enhancing patient experience and operational efficiency.

As a bilingual medical receptionist, the successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients entering the healthcare facility, providing warm greetings and accurate registration services. The role requires collecting patient information with precision, managing cash transactions such as co-pays and deductibles, scheduling and updating appointments using an electronic health record (EHR) system, and assisting patients in navigating healthcare services including MyChart enrollment and insurance verification. This role is uniquely positioned to leverage bilingual skills in English and Spanish, ensuring clear communication that supports patients' understanding of their medical appointments and financial responsibilities.

The Patient Access Representative will also contribute valuable interpretation services that enhance the connection between patients and clinical staff, fostering a supportive, inclusive environment conducive to high-quality healthcare. Maintaining patient confidentiality while delivering courteous and efficient service is integral to the role. Candidates who excel in this role will demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail in all interactions.

Overall, this position offers an exceptional opportunity for those passionate about healthcare and bilingual communication to play a pivotal role in improving patient access and satisfaction within a respected healthcare setting.
