The organization values professional integrity, teamwork, and patient-centered service, fostering a positive environment for both patients and employees.
We are currently seeking a front desk receptionist to join our team, a critical role that ensures smooth and efficient patient interactions from the moment they enter our facilities. This position involves greeting patients with friendly and respectful communication, managing patient intake documentation including insurance and demographic information, and handling payment processing accurately. The front desk receptionist acts as the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in maintaining the flow of appointments by promptly notifying clinical staff and managing scheduling tasks via our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
The ideal candidate should be adept at multitasking in a busy healthcare setting, possessing excellent communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities include answering incoming phone calls with professionalism, managing patient records, scheduling appointments with necessary follow-ups, and assisting the billing office in resolving payment issues. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with Windows-based computer applications and data entry accuracy. Additionally, the role requires flexibility to work as part of a team and occasional duties such as taking patient temperatures and conducting health screenings as part of our commitment to safety and quality care. This role is essential to ensuring not only administrative efficiency but also an excellent patient experience from check-in through to appointment completion.
