Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- One to two years of experience in a medical setting
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of reproductive health services preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
- Vaccination requirements including current flu shot and two doses of Covid-19 vaccine
- Willingness to work full-time hours

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years experience in a medical setting
- Experience with reproductive healthcare in a clinical office or hospital setting preferred
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Commitment to confidentiality and patient privacy
Job Duties
- Responding to patient requests and coordinating services
- Answering questions and providing patient education and referrals
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and co-workers
- Assisting with keeping appointments on time and optimizing the flow
- Performing all front office responsibilities as required by the health center
- Establishing and preparing documents for patient records and services
- Completing patient insurance information and entering data into affiliate systems
- Providing non-judgmental, client-centered care
- Utilizing knowledge of birth control methods and reproductive health services to educate patients
- Providing Planned Parenthood Patient Education Sheets and Informed Consent Forms
- Offering Planned Parenthood services and community resources
- Completing patient check-in including income screening and payment options
- Explaining types of coverage or funding and referring for health care insurance sign-up
- Maintaining patient accounts and updating personal and financial information
- Recording and collecting patient payments and soliciting donations
- Acting as a resource for other staff and supporting their learning and development
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Complying with infection and exposure control procedures and organizational policies
- Maintaining HIPAA compliance and all other compliance requirements
- Identifying and assisting in resolution of health center flow issues
- Participating in agency research projects
- Participating in achieving goals for productivity
- Completing assigned training, certifications, and competencies
- Maintaining job knowledge through meetings and training
