Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- One to two years experience working in a medical setting
- Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion
- Knowledge of reproductive health services preferred
- Experience with electronic health records preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Willingness to adhere to organizational policies and procedures
- Must provide proof of current flu shot and two doses of COVID-19 vaccination

Job Qualifications

- One to two years experience in a medical setting
- Experience with reproductive healthcare in a clinical office or hospital setting preferred
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems preferred

Job Duties
- Assisting patients by responding to requests and coordinating services from appropriate personnel or departments as needed
- Establishing and preparing documents for patient records and patient services
- Completing patient insurance information and entering visit data into affiliate systems
- Providing non-judgmental, client-centered care and accurate information by answering questions and providing appropriate resources
- Utilizing comprehensive knowledge of birth control methods and reproductive health services to provide patient education and resources
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and co-workers, utilizing service recovery when appropriate
- Completing all functions of patient check-in including income screening, explanation of funding, and payment options
- Optimizing patient satisfaction and efficient use of provider time by providing patient education appropriate to each type of visit
- Keeping appointments on schedule through ongoing communication with clinical and management staff
- Maintaining and updating patient accounts with personal and financial information
- Recording and collecting patient payments and soliciting donations while following organizational guidelines
- Acting as a resource to staff and supporting ongoing learning and development of the health center team
- Maintaining safe and clean work environment adhering to infection control and compliance procedures
- Ensuring HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Following policies and procedures to maintain health center operations and reporting needed changes
- Identifying and assisting in resolution of health center flow issues
- Participating in agency research projects and health center productivity goals
- Completing required training, certifications, and competencies
- Attending meetings and training to maintain job knowledge.
