Job Requirements
- A minimum of one year experience in office or customer service, preferably in hospice or health care, or graduation from a one- or two-year business college preferred
- able to type 50 words per minute
- strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- proficient computer and telephone skills
- knowledge of medical terminology

Job Duties
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly
- when answering patient calls or handling patient-related inquiries, confirm identity and verify information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- maintain a clean and organized reception area
- assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- handle inquiries and provide accurate information about the company
