Pediatric Associates is a well-established pediatric healthcare provider founded in Hollywood, Florida in 1955. As a leading clinician-led practice dedicated to evidence-based care, Pediatric Associates is committed to delivering exceptional pediatric services through a medical home model that emphasizes personalized and continuous care for children and their families. The organization is part of a growing network known as the Pediatric Associates Family of Companies, which unites pediatricians and care teammates across multiple locations. This collaborative network is dedicated to innovation, ensuring that clinician insights drive improvements and advancements in pediatric healthcare delivery nationwide. Pediatric Associates prides itself on creating a supportive and professional environment that fosters growth and teamwork among its staff, all while maintaining a strong focus on the needs of their young patients and their families. The company is deeply rooted in the community and has a reputation for compassionate, quality pediatric care in the regions it serves.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Front Office Float to join our team. This full-time position offers the exciting opportunity to work across multiple office locations, providing flexible support where it is most needed. In recognition of the unique nature of this role, the position includes a $1000 sign-on bonus to welcome new Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist hires to our team. The candidate must be bilingual in Spanish and English, fluent in both languages, to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population. The role also requires a valid driver’s license as the position is a float role that involves traveling between offices within the area, with an additional $2 per hour compensation for travel. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about pediatric care and enjoys interacting directly with patients and their families in a professional and compassionate manner.

As a Front Office Float, your primary function will be to serve as the welcoming face for patients and visitors, greeting them warmly as they arrive at our offices. You will be responsible for managing patient check-in and check-out processes, updating patient information, verifying insurance coverage, collecting payments including copays and outstanding balances, and providing necessary forms and follow-up information to patients. Additionally, you will assist in managing administrative tasks such as scanning and uploading documents, sorting and delivering mail, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area.

This role demands strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a high level of professionalism. You will work closely with clinical and administrative staff, contributing to an efficient and friendly office environment that supports the overall patient care experience. The position requires knowledge of medical terminology and computer systems, along with the ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies. This opportunity offers a unique blend of patient-facing responsibilities and administrative duties, making it a pivotal role in ensuring smooth front office operations across various locations. With a chance to participate in staff meetings and ongoing education, you will be part of a team that values continuous learning and improvement. If you are detail-oriented, adaptable, bilingual, and committed to providing outstanding customer service in pediatric healthcare, this position is an excellent fit.
