Job Requirements
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service preferably in a medical setting
- Ability to travel between metro Detroit locations as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer use and technology
- Ability to multitask and maintain organizational skills
- Willingness to undergo a background check
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years in a customer service role
- Preferred previous experience in a medical office setting
- Strong verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with computers and technology or the ability to quickly learn
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- A patient-centered approach ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued
Job Duties
- Greet patients warmly creating a sense of value and community
- Guide patients through check-in processes including assisting with virtual tablets and addressing questions or concerns
- Ensure seamless guest flow by communicating about walk-ins schedule changes or patient needs
- Troubleshoot patient issues and escalate concerns to appropriate team members such as office manager physician or billing department
- Perform all opening and closing tasks for the front desk and lobby including printing patient demographics and schedules
- File necessary paperwork
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area
- Manually check in patients unable to use virtual systems ensuring everyone feels supported
- Communicate efficiently with team members to provide updates on patient arrivals delays or other on-site needs
- Foster an atmosphere of teamwork contributing to the overall success of the office
