Job Description

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is a leading healthcare provider specializing in senior-focused primary care. As part of Humana Inc., CenterWell operates with a mission to deliver proactive and preventive healthcare services that emphasize personalized patient experiences. The company is recognized for its commitment to improving the well-being of seniors through comprehensive wellness visits, physical exams, chronic condition management, screenings, and minor injury treatment. CenterWell's integrated care model includes a diverse team of providers such as physicians, nurses, and behavioral health specialists who spend considerable time understanding and addressing both the physical and emotional needs of patients. This approach ensures that healthcare is not only about treating conditions but also about supporting the overall quality of life and health outcomes for seniors. With a large network across clinics, CenterWell offers stability, excellent benefits, and comprehensive support to its employees, fostering career growth from day one.

The role of the Receptionist at CenterWell Senior Primary Care is pivotal in supporting this mission by serving as the welcoming front of the healthcare facility. This is a full-time position with a scheduled 40-hour workweek and a competitive salary range from $39,000 to $49,400 per year, which may vary based on experience and location. The Receptionist acts as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and caring experience. Responsibilities include managing appointment scheduling, maintaining accurate patient records in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, coordinating billing, answering inquiries, and supporting administrative tasks. This role also takes on team lead duties, providing guidance and training to other reception staff, and may involve traveling to support multiple clinics within the Dallas-Fort Worth market, with mileage reimbursement provided.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology, and experience working within a value-based care model. They must be passionate about patient-centered care and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service. This role includes responsibilities such as problem resolution, overseeing office management duties, and supporting team and center administration. The opportunity to contribute to a healthcare organization that prioritizes whole-person health and patient satisfaction makes this Receptionist role both fulfilling and impactful. Additionally, employees benefit from comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, retirement plans, tuition assistance, and career development opportunities, helping to support personal and professional growth along with workplace wellness.
