Job Duties
- Maintain appointment schedule template
- coordinate the ongoing operation of the check-in process and front desk
- answer telephone calls and assist callers in a pleasant manner
- execute necessary insurance pre-authorizations
- maintain electronic and paper medical records
- perform daily clerical activities including message retrieval, fax distribution, filing, and mail sorting
- collect and reconcile co-pay collections and cash drawers
- collaborate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
- utilize effective and professional communication methods with diverse populations
- perform additional tasks as assigned by physicians or management
- provide cross coverage as needed
- assist and perform chaperone duties for patient medical procedures when required
