Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • One or more years of customer service or receptionist experience
  • Intermediate computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday with flexible hours
  • Capacity to float to other local practices when needed
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Successful completion of a drug test prior to employment

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • One or more years of customer service or receptionist experience
  • Intermediate computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with Epic preferred
  • Previous primary care experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Conduct check-in and check-out process
  • Answer incoming calls and use EHR to document details of patient inquiries
  • Conduct outreach to patients requiring appointments or service follow-up
  • Schedule appointments using standard scheduling protocols
  • Manage administrative in-basket pools and work queues
  • Scan documents into the EHR per standard protocols
  • Balance payments and prepare deposits
  • Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information
  • Provide coverage at other ProHealth locations on an ad hoc basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned
