Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year professional experience as a medical receptionist in front-office direct patient care contact
  • experience in a fast pace/high volume environment
  • proficiency with MS Outlook
  • basic computer knowledge
  • excellent communication skills
  • team player
  • willingness to learn and be cross trained
  • ability to pass tuberculosis (TB) screening
  • able to work Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM
  • local travel availability with mileage reimbursement
  • bilingual English/Spanish required for language proficiency testing

Job Duties

  • Operate switchboard or multi-line phone system
  • maintain long distance call logs
  • take and distribute accurate messages
  • greet visitors and determine the nature of their visit
  • issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs
  • alert appropriate party of visitor arrival or direct visitors
  • respond to routine inquiries about location, hours, phone numbers, and email
  • book meeting rooms
  • type and organize mail
  • receive and send courier packages
  • adhere to work expectations and quality standards under close supervision
