Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or medical office setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively

  • Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with computers and EHR/EMR systems (training provided)
  • Detail-oriented and dependable
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) or previous experience in a medical office/pharmacy/DME setting a plus

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate team (pharmacy, DME, billing, etc.)
  • Make outbound calls to patients, caregivers, and facilities to coordinate monthly DME orders
  • Confirm supply needs, delivery dates, and insurance information with patients
  • Document all communications and updates accurately in the patient's chart/system
  • Ensure patient records are current and complete with necessary authorizations or documentation
  • Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor with all patient interactions
  • Collaborate closely with DME staff and pharmacy team to ensure seamless service
  • Perform general front desk duties as needed, including faxing, scanning, and filing
