Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of state-specific occupational medicine requirements preferred
- Ability to make decisions using logic to identify facts and propose solutions
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in compliance with HIPAA
- Demonstrated effective communication with employers, patients, and employees
- Ability to maintain working relationships with employees at all levels
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- Ability to perform all aspects of front office operations
- Drive to achieve or exceed established service standards
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet patients and visitors
- Communicate wait times to patients and direct them accordingly
- Obtain authorization as needed to process patients for services
- Check in patients using appropriate patient management system
- Explain all required forms to patients and ensure proper completion of paperwork
- Answer incoming telephone lines and direct callers accordingly
- Contact patients regarding appointment reminders, rescheduling, or cancellations
- Check out patients in patient management system and distribute records
- File paperwork, medical records, and correspondence
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and printed forms
- Manage dissemination of paperwork to outside parties
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety rules
- Attend center staff meetings and participate in training
- Complete processing of patient referrals
- Assist Center Operations Director with daily administrative functions
- Maintain neat, clean, and orderly facility appearance
- Use employer reporting tools to distribute employer results and paperwork
- Review clinician transcriptions and enter charges
- Perform some medical assistant duties as assigned
