Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience or training in a medical or healthcare-related administrative role preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and willingness to learn EHR/EMR systems
- Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with computers and EHR/EMR systems (training provided)
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) or previous experience in a medical office/pharmacy/DME setting a plus
Job Duties
- Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate team (pharmacy, DME, billing, etc.)
- Make outbound calls to patients, caregivers, and facilities to coordinate monthly DME orders
- Confirm supply needs, delivery dates, and insurance information with patients
- Document all communications and updates accurately in the patient's chart/system
- Ensure patient records are current and complete with necessary authorizations or documentation
- Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor with all patient interactions
- Collaborate closely with DME staff and pharmacy team to ensure seamless service
- Perform general front desk duties as needed, including faxing, scanning, and filing
