Job Requirements

  • 6 months related experience
  • Accurate computer and keyboarding skills required
  • Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
  • Proficient in operating telephone and headsets, PC, printer, photocopier and fax machine

  • Ability to sit for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Handle incoming calls in a call center environment maintaining minimum 93 percent availability
  • Greet patients and collect co-pays at the front desk
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals
  • Support departmental clerical duties including sorting and distributing faxes and mail
  • Perform patient outreach for scheduling and rescheduling appointments
  • Maintain lobby cleanliness and order
  • Provide timely and courteous assistance ensuring quality service to patients
