Job Requirements

  • High school diploma GED or equivalent required
  • relevant experience can be considered in place of formal education
  • ability to work full time 40 hours per week including potential evenings and Saturdays
  • ability to be assigned shifts at multiple locations for coverage purposes
  • commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • excellent verbal communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • experience in customer service or healthcare settings preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet and check in patients and visitors
  • answer phone calls promptly and courteously
  • schedule appointments based on provider availability
  • assist with managing patient flow to ensure efficiency
  • address patient inquiries about appointments and care with patience and professionalism
  • maintain and update patient records accurately
  • manage office supplies and equipment including ordering when necessary
  • communicate office policies to patients
  • assist with opening and closing procedures at the front desk
  • maintain cleanliness of the office and common areas including rest rooms break room and lobby areas
  • adhere strictly to HIPAA privacy compliance guidelines
