Job Description
Women's Care, established in 1988, stands as Lane County's oldest independent physician group dedicated exclusively to women's health. With six clinic locations spread throughout Lane County, the organization prides itself on delivering the highest standards of care marked by compassion, respect, and professionalism. Women's Care serves a wide demographic, attending to patients ranging from adolescence through menopause, and has earned a reputation as one of the leading advocates for women's health in the region. As an equal opportunity employer, Women's Care fosters an inclusive and supportive work environment where employees can thrive and contribute to their mission of exceptional patient care.
We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our Women’s Care clinic located at Chase Gardens in Eugene, OR. This pivotal role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment and understands that every patient interaction shapes their healthcare experience. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that eases patient concerns and fosters trust. Emphasizing professionalism, empathy, and efficiency, you will manage a range of front desk activities from patient check-ins, managing communications, scheduling appointments to handling financial transactions including co-pays. The position expects a commitment of 40 hours per week onsite, with a competitive pay range of $18.86 to $22.72 per hour, complemented by a robust benefits package.
The Medical Receptionist must maintain organized records by verifying and updating patient information and insurance details accurately. You will also facilitate patient engagement by enrolling new patients in the patient portal, helping them access their health information conveniently. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in managing incoming calls, emails, and faxes, ensuring prompt and accurate routing to the appropriate departments and providing timely responses to patient inquiries. Beyond administrative duties, you will serve as an empathetic listener to patient concerns, escalating issues when necessary to maintain satisfaction and adherence to the clinic’s high standards. Upholding a professional appearance, you will contribute to maintaining a clean and organized front desk and waiting area, promoting an inviting environment.
Your role as Medical Receptionist is critical in supporting the clinic's goal of seamless operation and superior patient care. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff, helping to streamline clinic processes and enhance patient experience. We seek individuals who demonstrate strong personal and interpersonal effectiveness, demonstrated by accountability, adaptability, respectful communication, and teamwork. If you possess a genuine commitment to creating positive healthcare experiences and enjoy a dynamic work setting, this opportunity at Women's Care offers a fulfilling career path with growth potential within a respected healthcare provider.
