Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of relevant experience in healthcare, retail, hospitality, legal, insurance or call center settings
- excellent communication skills
- ability to manage multiple phone lines
- ability to multitask efficiently
- strong organizational skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- willingness to perform administrative tasks
- ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM
- willingness to comply with tuberculosis (TB) screening
- ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in healthcare or customer service roles
- excellent customer service skills
- proficiency with multi-phone line systems
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- team player with ability to multitask
- detail-oriented and organized
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Operate switchboard and multi-line phone system
- maintain accurate call and visitor logs
- greet and assist visitors, issuing visitor passes
- determine and direct visitors to appropriate departments or employees
- take and distribute accurate messages
- respond to routine inquiries regarding location, hours, phone numbers, and email
- perform additional administrative duties as assigned
