Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of relevant experience in healthcare, retail, hospitality, legal, insurance or call center settings
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple phone lines
  • ability to multitask efficiently
  • strong organizational skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • willingness to perform administrative tasks
  • ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM
  • willingness to comply with tuberculosis (TB) screening
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in healthcare or customer service roles
  • excellent customer service skills
  • proficiency with multi-phone line systems
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • team player with ability to multitask
  • detail-oriented and organized
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Operate switchboard and multi-line phone system
  • maintain accurate call and visitor logs
  • greet and assist visitors, issuing visitor passes
  • determine and direct visitors to appropriate departments or employees
  • take and distribute accurate messages
  • respond to routine inquiries regarding location, hours, phone numbers, and email
  • perform additional administrative duties as assigned
