Job Description

Sage Infusion is a dynamic startup infusion center with locations across central and southwest Florida, dedicated to transforming the patient experience in infusion therapy. At Sage, we believe in reimagining patient care by providing a seamless, compassionate, and efficient environment for individuals receiving infusion treatments. Our centers focus on delivering upfront pricing and financial assistance, ensuring that patients not only receive expert clinical care but also feel supported and valued throughout their treatment journey. This forward-thinking approach has positioned Sage Infusion as a trusted provider of infusion services in the region.

The Front Desk Receptionist role at Sage Infusion is a vital position within our team, serving as the welcoming face of the infusion center and a key point of contact for patients and staff alike. This full-time role, based in Lakeland, Florida, offers a competitive hourly wage of $19. The individual in this position will be responsible for managing incoming telephone calls, greeting patients upon arrival, and ensuring a smooth administrative flow in the facility. The Front Desk Receptionist works closely with other team members, including management and clinical staff, to maintain a high standard of patient service and administrative efficiency.

In this role, you will be handling multiple responsibilities such as scanning new patient forms into electronic medical records promptly, contacting patients to confirm receipt of their orders, and collecting any missing demographic information. Providing excellent customer service is paramount, including scheduling patient appointments and ensuring patients feel welcomed and cared for during their visit. The role also involves collecting copays, handling necessary paperwork, and maintaining a clean and organized facility environment.

The Front Desk Receptionist will also manage incoming shipments and mail, scan drugs into the EMR inventory, and assist with medication inventory reconciliations as needed. Communication skills and the ability to reliably follow through on tasks are critical in this role, along with a warm and approachable demeanor. The successful candidate will be expected to take initiative by suggesting improvements to management and addressing questions or concerns through proper organizational channels.

Beyond day-to-day duties, the Front Desk Receptionist is expected to uphold high-quality standards in internal and external customer service, set personal performance goals, and consistently complete assignments on schedule. As an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team, this position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the quality of patient care and operational success of the infusion center.

Sage Infusion is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to cultivating an inclusive and respectful work environment. We welcome diverse backgrounds and perspectives as essential components to our team's success and innovation.
